Meet Liv (she/her)

The decision to seek therapy takes an enormous amount of courage, and marks a new stage of one’s life. I welcome you to this stage, and thank you humbly for considering me to join you on this journey. Whether you’ve been in therapy before or this is your first time, the relationship we develop will be a new experience for both of us.

I've been working in mental health since 2012, starting as a research assistant and moving through academic and clinical settings before graduating from USC's MFT program in 2021. My early clinical work was in community mental health with high-risk adolescents — which taught me a lot about what it means to show up for people in real crisis. My practice has since grown to focus on adult trauma recovery and couples therapy.

I'm a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician, trained directly by Dr. Ramani Durvasula and Dr. Catherine Barrett. I work with people recovering from coercive control, manipulation, and the kind of slow erosion of trust that happens in relationships where you've learned not to trust your own perceptions — whether that's a romantic partner, a parent, or a boss. I draw on attachment theory, somatic tools, and trauma-informed care to help people understand the patterns that brought them here, rebuild a sense of safety, and develop tools for repair that actually work.

I also work with couples of all configurations — including queer and CNM/polyamorous partnerships — and with queer and non-monogamous individuals navigating identity, community, and connection. I'm not just affirming; I'm genuinely literate in these communities, and I bring that into the room with me.

My framework is anti-oppressive and anti-racist — not as a tagline, but as something I actively work to embody in session and in my own ongoing education. I don't think mental health exists in a vacuum.

My deepest wish for each client is that therapy is a space where one can grow, develop, and learn about themselves so that they can integrate this insight in a lasting way in their lives. It’s an honor and a privilege to bear witness to this change process, and I’m thrilled to be part of it!
